This is a bell shaped cream aurene, translucent shade by Frederick Carder and Steuben. The shade has a gold drape design with a ruffled edge on the larger rim. It is 4.5" high with a 2.25" rim for the fitter. The Steuben logo, the Fleur-de-Lis, is on the small rim. The shade is in excellent condition.
This is chimney shaped, Quezal Art Glass Shade in a gold fishnet design over light cream base. The shade is 7" wide, 3" high with a 3.25" rim for the fitter. The name "Quezal" is engraved in black on the small rim. It is in excellent condition.
Louis C. Tiffany frequently used turtle back tiles in his windows, mosaics and mantle pieces. But for this 15.5" high bronze lamp, the shade is composed of three tiles. The pallet is green, gold and yellow, with flashes of deep blue and purple iridescence. The bronze is the brown and green patina. Martin Bach and Quezal produced this extraordinary bell shaped art glass shade made out of a golden heat reactive glass. The King Tut wave design is done in white. A Tiffany Candlestick Shade, in colors that we have rarely found, was originally designed for use with a bronze base or as part of a intricate candelabra. The complexity in the execution and design of this stunning shade is wonderful. Bright and fresh as a new copper penny, Martin Bach and Quezal produced these lovely Fishnet design art glass shades, circa 1920. The 3.5" high shade is ovoid in shape, with a opal calcite base. Louis Comfort Tiffany is famous for his Floral, elaborate lamp shades over bronze bases. We offer a smaller, 5" version of the Tiffany Studios mastery in a green pulled feather over a pearlized light cream, gently ribbed shade. Tiffany Studios, Quezal and Steuben produced the finest in Art Nouveau shades during the last decade of the 19th Century and the first three decades of the 21st Century. This 3.5" high golden art glass shade is believed to be Steuben. The glass is fragile, blown glass with magenta and deep blue highlghts. Note the crimped rim with its single layer of gold art glass. The rim for the fitter is 2.25". The shade is in excellent condition.
